Cookie Policy
Last updated: 21 October 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Alma Latina Store Limited uses cookies, pixels, scripts and related storage or access technologies on almalatina.co.uk. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are these technologies?
Cookies are small files that websites can store on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, advertising pixels, web beacons and tracking scripts. Some support essential shopping functions; others can help measure activity or show advertising. Where personal information is processed, UK data protection law also applies.
2. Purposes and categories
- Required: services essential to shopping, checkout, security, fraud prevention and account functions. Technologies strictly necessary for a service you request may be used without cookie consent.
- Personalization: optional features that remember preferences or tailor your experience.
- Analytics: measuring visits, performance and interactions. Some narrowly defined statistical uses may qualify for a statutory exception; otherwise consent is required where applicable.
- Marketing: advertising measurement, conversion tracking, remarketing and relevant promotions, including where supported by advertising partners. Non-essential advertising tracking requires the appropriate permission.
3. Providers and technical purposes
Shopify: ecommerce session, cart, checkout, security and customer privacy settings, and potentially enhanced services, including Shopify Network Intelligence. Shopify's Consumer Privacy Policy provides more information about its independent processing.
Google: services used for website analytics, advertising tags, campaign measurement and enhanced conversions, where configured and lawfully permitted.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok: advertising or campaign measurement technologies where enabled and permitted.
Store applications: some apps supporting shopping, customer interaction and website functions may use storage or similar technologies. Their activity is subject to their purposes and the applicable privacy requirements.
Some events can also be transmitted from a server rather than directly from your browser. Server-side processing is not automatically exempt from data protection or marketing privacy requirements.
4. Your choices
Where consent is required, optional technologies should only be used after a valid choice. Our Shopify cookie banner allows visitors in supported regions to accept, decline or select optional categories. On the Hyper/Ceramide storefront, you can change or withdraw your consent using the permanent Cookie preferences control in the footer. If the preference control is unavailable on the storefront you are using, please contact us at support@almalatina.co.uk about your choices and manage stored cookies in your browser; blocking essential storage may affect shopping functionality. Simply continuing to browse is not consent.
5. Duration and further details
The duration of storage varies: some technologies last for a browsing session, others persist for a period set by the provider or until removed. We are reviewing the current active identifiers, provider purposes and retention periods as part of the Hyper/Ceramide launch readiness checks. You can request further details of the technologies relevant to your visit at support@almalatina.co.uk. We will update this notice as the inventory is verified.
6. Marketing choices and third-party information
Cookie consent is separate from subscribing to marketing emails. You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time. See the Privacy Policy for more about personal data, Shopify Network Intelligence, transfers and data protection rights.
